CCPA notice for California residents

This notice applies to personal information of California residents collected by Made For Builders through madeforbuilders.com and through our client relationships. Where this notice and the privacy policy overlap, this notice prevails for California residents.

In the last 12 months we have collected these categories, as defined in the CCPA:

• Identifiers: name, email address, phone number — provided by you in our forms.
• Professional or employment-related information: company name and role — provided by you.
• Internet activity: aggregated, anonymous site metrics via cookieless analytics. Not linked to you.
• We do NOT collect: precise geolocation, biometric data, sensitive personal information, or data about minors.

We collect personal information directly from you (forms, emails, calls) and, in aggregate and anonymous form, from your use of the site. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.

We use personal information to:

• Reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
• Deliver and bill contracted services.
• Improve the site with aggregated metrics.
• Send commercial communications only if you opt in.

We do not sell personal information and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we neither sell nor share, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is required — but if that ever changed, we would add one and ask first.

Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to:

• Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
• Delete: request deletion of your personal information, with legal exceptions.
• Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of sale or sharing: not applicable, since we do neither.
• Limit use of sensitive personal information: not applicable, since we do not collect it.
• Non-discrimination: we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Submit a request through our contact page. We will verify your identity using the information you provided when interacting with us (for example, matching your email), respond within 45 days, and extend once by another 45 days if necessary, telling you why.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will ask for written proof of the authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

We review this notice at least every 12 months, as the CCPA requires. If we change it, we will update the date on this page and communicate material changes visibly.
