Cookie policy

This site uses a single cookie, and it is functional: it remembers your language. We use no marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. This page explains exactly what exists and how to control it.

  1. What a cookie is

    A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It can remember preferences (like your language) or, on many other sites, track your activity. Here it does only the former.

  2. The only cookie we use

    madeforbuilders.com sets a single first-party, functional cookie:

    • Name: mfb-locale. Purpose: remember the language and market you choose (es-ES, pt-BR, en-US, or en-GB) so we do not ask on every visit. Duration: 12 months. Type: first-party, technical/functional. It does not identify you or record your browsing.

  3. Cookieless analytics

    We measure site performance with Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both work without cookies: they produce aggregated, anonymous metrics (page views, load speed) without building user profiles or following you across other websites.

  4. What we do NOT use

    To leave no doubt:

    • Zero advertising or remarketing cookies.
    • Zero social media pixels.
    • Zero third-party tracking cookies.
    • Zero sale of browsing data.

  5. How to control cookies

    You can delete or block the mfb-locale cookie in your browser settings (privacy or cookies section). The only effect is that the site will re-detect your language on your next visit. As a strictly necessary functional cookie, it does not require prior consent under PECR and ICO guidance.

  6. Changes to this policy

    If we ever add a new cookie, we will document it here before enabling it and ask for consent where the law requires it. The version published on this page is always the current one.
